The SheepStop Story
SheepStop came about as an effort to change the perception of online shopping in India. After having spent more than seven years in the US, Parag felt that both the online shopping experience as well as the state of customer service in India was average at best. Bhagyashri, on the other had had always yearned to start somenthing of her own after having graduated from the Indian School of Business, Hyderabad. They met over coffee one fine day and that started not just a new chapter in their life but also a new journey called SheepStop. Both agreed that even the best online shopping platforms available today totally lack the fun element that is so central to an activity like shopping and they vowed to get the "ZING" into online shopping as well as to set new standards of customer service in India. It is these principles which have helped guide SheepStop and it's parent company Stylebuds to it's present form.

A Graduate in Information Technology and an art enthusiast at heart, Bhagyashri started her career as an ERP consultant with Atos Origin. In 2005, she went to the Indian School of Business, Hyderabad to hone her business skills to complement her creative and technical background. Post MBA, she spent three years as a strategy consultant for Electronic Data Systems and MphasiS. A strong drive for making a change led her to quit this comfort zone and to jumpstart her venture named Stylebuds!
Currently, she handles Business Development and Operations for StyleBuds. She is the lady who actively manages both the customer and supplier ends, creating "Win-Win" situations all the time!
Right from her school days, Bhagyashri had a strong inclination towards design and art. She was awarded the 1st prize at the hands of the Late President of India, Dr. Shankar Dayal Sharma for the best literacy campaign poster.
Personally, a highly animated personality and a non-vegetarian freak she enjoys draping herself in different garments and does not believe in the word "impossible".

Dr. Parag Dixit
Co-founder, Architect
Parag earned his PhD. in Mechanical Engineering and Scientific Computing from University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. This dual PhD and the surname “D”ixit earned him the title ‘Dcube’ from near and dear ones! He did post-doctoral research at the University of California, San Diego for a couple years, but the love for his motherland and a penchant to start something of his own brought him back to India.
Currently, he works with MSC Software Corporation as a Senior Software engineer developing new material models and spends his after office hours contributing towards the building of SheepStop. He loves programming especially when the problem is intellectually stimulating and the results visually appealing. He is responsible for the entire web development at SheepStop and a significant contributor to each and every idea that originates at StyleBuds.
During his engineering days, Parag had bagged the most coveted Firodiya Karandak (the kaleidoscope of youth art forms in Pune) as part of the MIT team for his paintings during a live performance. During the summer vacation of 1997, he along with a group of equally enthusiastic friends had founded ‘Designer cards’, a greeting card company as a hobby. They managed to get quite a few eyeballs with their unique "POP-UP" designs. They grew this business further by expanding to their own brand of t-shirts by the name of El-Nino collections. Having fiddled with art and startups right from his childhood, SheepStop is his precious dream!

Now about my experience with SheepStop. It has been more than wonderful. Never before has shopping been so easy. Now buying a tee is just a click away.
I am currently in the USA and I have found a lot of gifting ideas on the net, But so far this one has been the best one . It was my cousin's budday and this time I decided to gift a tee rather than some chocolates , flowers or a cake. Trust me this idea rocked. My cousin was pleasantly surprised . Everything right from selecting a tee to making the final payment was quick and hassle free. The delivery was instant.
